COVID CANCELLATIONS RESULT IN FORFEITS

The WOSHL and its members had to make a few difficult decisions for the good of our fans and the potential risk of exposure to COVID and the Omicron variant. Despite the leagues decision to carry expanded rosters the Strathroy team had an unacceptably high case count that even with expanded rosters made it impossible to play. The risk was too great for more exposure. As a result both teams that were able to play have been awarded the wins. This was not an easy decision to make, but these are unusual times. All members felt rescheduling would hold up playoffs too long, so this was the agreed upon course of action. We move forward with the remaining schedules as posted.
